Second year Youth team players Matthew Blake, Andy Hardman, Ashley Combe, Richie Hoban and Terry Stewart have all been released by Carlisle United.

Youth team Boss Eric Kinder said: "As I said a few weeks ago, you get to know these lads and you see the work they do for you day to day. However, sometimes tough decisions have to be made and they leave the club with our best wishes for the future."

Manager Neil McDonald confirmed these comments when he said: "We thank the lads for their efforts over the past two years, and we genuinely wish all of them the very best for the future, with whatever they do."
