ANDY HORN

Name: Andy Horn
Job Title: First Team Assistant
Been with the club since: Driven the first team bus for nearly 6 years and have been employed by the Club for 3 years.
What does your job involve? It involves ordering all the kits, numbering them all, making sure all the kit is packed for away games, sorting out the route to the game, sorting out the team coach and driving it to wherever it is that we are playing. It also involves booking the hotels if the game involves a stop over. I'm also co-ordinator for the Centre of Excellence which means that I do the same things for them - kits, travel and making sure everything runs smoothly for their weekend games.
What's going to be new in your department in the future? Well we have the new kit on its way. All the shirts will need names and numbers on. The kit will have to be numbered all the way down to the U9s in the Centre of Excellence, so there is a bit of extra work initially, but it's all part of the job.
What do you do away from the club? I used to do a bit of coaching for Udale Pegasus but I've had to drop that this year because I've got so much on here. The good old Cumbrian sport of Hound trailing, I love going out to that and so do my kids. Then I've still got the greyhound interest - four ex players and myself still own a greyhound so we get quiet excited about that. Then there's cricket, I enjoy that in the close season. Anything generally that gets me out of the house. I'm not one to sit around ... I get itchy feet if I sit down to dinner!
