Brunton Park was a hive of activity today as workmen took on the massive task of removing the stage and pitch covering, all under the watchful eye of groundsman Dave Mitchell.

Literally thousands of seats had to be packed away.

The screens and amplifiers disappeared.

The covering was stacked away ...

... and the familiar turf  started to appear.

The stage disappeared by dinnertime.
