WE'VE GOT SOME GOOD CHARACTERS HERE

We spoke to Reserve Boss Gregg Abbott about the 3-1 victory over Blackpool:
"Excellent, that was excellent, and I think it probably stood out as an end of season game. There wasn't much to play for and everyone was relaxed.
The first team are near enough done, and that was the last Reserve game, and I really did think that we played well. That's as good as they've played attitude wise and passing wise all season, and it shows that we've got some good characters around the club. They were prepared to have a good go right through to the end and do things right, the way we wanted them to do things.
Derek Holmes was absolutely brilliant. I mean, all you can do as a centre forward is score goals. It doesn't matter what game it is, I know it's the last but one game of the season, but he's got a hat trick, and there you go.
He's got to keep doing that for himself and things will happen for him. He's dug in there, he hasn't had a great deal of first team action recently, but he's scored goals for the first team when he's come on as sub, and he's scored three more for the Reserve team today, and I'm massively pleased for him because he's a real hard worker.
Like I say, it's a good way to round the Reserve season off, so I'm pleased for all of the lads who have been involved."
Team: Howarth, Arnison, Krause, Joyce (Wood 46), Gray, Kirkup, Vipond, McDermott, Holmes, Madine, Hindmarch (Blake 70).
