Zigor Aranalde, a native of the Basque region of Spain, joined United at the start of July 2005 after 4 years with Walsall.
A talented left back, he was a regular in Ray Graydon's side before a spell on loan with the Owls.
He made the left back spot his own, showing calm assurance on the ball in defence, coupled with an eye for the telling cross when going forward.A long throw specialist, his strength and accuracy has caused many a defence a worrying game.
Under contract until the summer of 2008.
