Keiren Westwood joined United in the summer of 2004, following his release from Manchester City, and made his debut in the September of that year in the 2-1 League Trophy home win over Grimsby Town.
A quick, agile keeper, his record shows 18, 20 and 19 clean sheets respectively in his three seasons between the sticks.
A young keeper with an ever-growing reputation, he picked up a string of awards at the end of the 2007/08 season in recognition of his outstanding performances. Called up to the Republic of Ireland squad in summer 2008 for the friendly games against Serbia and Colombia.
Under contract until the summer of 2009.
