More match reaction from United legend Hugh Mcilmoyle:

It was a good match on Tuesday even though we lost. We had to lose sometime but it was a pity that it couldn't have been next season!

I didn't enjoy the game though, as I was just too nervous. You could tell that it was going to be one of those games where a soft goal would win it, and when we missed a couple of chances in the first half, I feared the worst.

I don't think we deserved to lose - we should have come out of the match with something. The players really put the effort in but it was just one of those nights. Remember, this season we've played a lot worse than that and won comfortably. Good luck to Forest, they put the effort in and got their rewards.

The fourteen game winning run was a tremendous feat, but all runs come to an end sometime - it's sad when it happens though. At least we didn't get pasted - we played well and everyone gave a hundred percent.

I hope we can just shrug that game off and start a new winning run on Saturday. At least the players won't have the load on their backs of the winning streak - perhaps the players weren't aware of it so much but the media do keep these things on the front burner. It's like when we had the opposite run away from home.

It has helped that Doncaster also lost and so everything stays the same at the top of the League, but with one game less to play. We've still got it all to play for and the winning line is still in sight. If we play the last few games as well as we played on Tuesday, we'll be ok. I'm very optimistic that we'll hang on to that second spot.

The fans were excellent on Tuesday - there's not many teams would get applauded off the pitch when they've lost at home.

It will be good to see another big crowd for the Yeovil match on Saturday - cheering the lads on to victory!
