THE LATEST NEWS FROM DOLLY
Dolly gave us all the latest news from the treatment room this morning:
Kevin Harper is now back in training. His calf has healed with no problems at all. He's been training for a few days now, but missed last weekend's game simply because he hadn't had enough time under his belt. He'd been out for four weeks and he needed to work on his fitness a bit more. We'll monitor him from now on, but he shouldn't have any further problems.
Peter Murphy has had his first day back today, outside on the pitch. That's gone fine, with no problems, so we just have to build him up this week and make sure he's available for the Gaffer for the Crewe game.
Paul Murray is still in training with the lads. He got through a 60 minute game last week, with no reaction the day after. He probably just needs another game, then he will be available.
Simon Hackney is coming on slowly, but surely. We are just working on his knee bending at the moment. He's now four weeks down the line, so he has another couple of weeks of light work, which is mostly moving the joint. After that we'll start giving him some very light exercises, and it's a case of just building that up slowly. As it stands, he's probably three months away from getting back in to full training.
Grant Carson seems to be coping with his back problem, so he is also back in full training.
It's looking much better all of a sudden,
Keep well,
Dolly
