IMPROVEMENTS ALL ROUND

Dolly opens the door to his treatment room once more:
Simon Hackney is back in at work now. He's had two or three weeks off over Christmas and we have had him limited to 60 degrees of bend in his knee. Over the next three to four weeks we will build that up and work towards 130 degrees of movement. He's also started some light strength work with the knee, nothing too much, and we will keep him doing that over the next three weeks. We'll be guided along the way by the surgeon who did the operation.
Paul Murray is back in full training and has had no adverse reaction from the full contact stuff. Everything has gone exceptionally well, and all he needs now are a few games under his belt before he can be considered for a first team place. We just need him to get some Reserve team games in.
Peter Murphy has improved a lot, with some treatment and rest, but he's still very doubtful for this weekend. As it stands we may have him back for the Crewe home game.
Kevin Harper came back in to full training yesterday and has been fine, which is good news.
Grant Carson has started training again this week with our keeper coach, doing some light work. Everything has gone really well so we'll monitor him this week. He won't be involved in the Youth game at the weekend, but we are targeting the following week for him to play again.
That's all for now,
Keep well,
Dolly
