NO NEW INJURIES
Dolly with his weekly update:
Jeff Smith is doing well now. He's running with me at the moment, and we'll build that up over the course of the next week. His ankle has healed nicely, so he should be back in full training with the lads in a week or so.
Paul Reid is progressing slowly. The swelling and bruising is coming out of the joint, but we still can't do anything functional with him yet. We're just going day by day now. As we speak I would say that he's very doubtful for this weekend, but will be ok a week or so after that.
Joe Garner and Shaun Vipond are continuing on their respective roads to recovery, with no problems to report.
Tom Aldred has picked up an illness. It's a bug of some kind, so we are keeping him at home, but he should be with us again by the end of the week.
Matt Brown still has a little bit of swelling on his knee. We are just trying to get that down between games, so that he can keep playing, and he should be ok for the Youth game later in the week.
John Seaton went over on his ankle last week, and it looks like he has damaged his ankle ligaments. That is his season finished. We'll get that sorted and hopefully get him back and ready or the first day of pre-season in the summer.
That's all for now,
Keep well,
Dolly
