Dolly brings us bang up to date with the injury situation:

We had a few knocks and niggles from the Tranmere game, but nothing out of the ordinary for most of the players.

Chris Lumsdon is suffering from a stiff back this morning. It looks like a joint locked up on him during the game, but he will be fine for Saturday. He's in today so that myself and Faz can do some work on him, and that should ease things off for him nicely.

Danny Carlton didn't get to start the game, as you know, after he complained about a problem with his back during the warm-up. As to what actually caused the problem, it really could be anything, from getting out of bed and pulling it to picking something up that caused a tweak. Our training sessions last week were mostly in the Neil Centre, so it could be related to that, or it could be something completely different. We'll have a really good look at him on Friday and we'll have to make a decision on him from there. The thing is with this type of injury, and with the long journey to Bristol coming up, we would really want him to train, with no reaction, in order to be comfortable with allowing him to travel. We would want to make sure that he is alright. We can't really take a gamble, sit him on the bus for that length of time and then find that we've made it worse by doing that once we get there. That will do him no good at all. On top of that, if we do send him out and he has to come off after ten minutes, then it makes it harder for the manager. So, as I say, we'll take a close look at the situation tomorrow and make a decision from there.

That's all for now,

Keep well,
