The FITC Saturday PlayFair scheme, running in conjunction with Carlisle City Council, is proving to be a huge success, with the kids who attend for each home game leaving with a big smile on their faces.

Well, one of our very own got to 'live the dream' at a recent get together, achieving a lifetime ambition when he got to model the latest in fire fighting equipment as part of a demonstration with the local Fire Brigade.

FITC Officer John Halpin was the first to volunteer to try the equipment on and, as you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed himself as he got to try some of the very latest in front line fire fighting gear.

The Saturday PlayFair scheme continues this weekend with youngsters from around the County joining the FITC team here at Brunton Park.
