The Football in the Community team have been busy over the last couple of weeks organising the BT Community Girls Cup competition.

Teams from schools around the County took part in this knock out competition, including those from Penrith, Kendal, Whitehaven, Maryport and Carlisle.

The final was between St Aidans School, Carlisle and Queen Elizabeth School, Penrith and the deciding game was played at the Neil Centre before the Cheltenham match yesterday.

As expected, it was a hard fought affair with St Aidans running out as the eventual winners with a healthy 3-0 scoreline.
