The Football in the Community team has been touring Cumbria putting on Soccer Schools, with two and three day courses.

Monday and Tuesday of this week saw Nick Rigg and Barry Keal coaching 5-11 year olds on Appleby Grammar School playing fields.

The children learnt ball skills, had penalty shoot outs and played team games. Two of the children have been invited to have a six week trial at the Centre of Excellence after showing our coaches what they can do but the emphasis of the whole course is on having fun and enjoying getting outside and mixing with other children.This group all agreed it was a great way to fill their holidays.
