Robert Somers has had his fair share of wins with the Blues Lottto recently.

He had already won the £100 daily draw three times in the last 12 months, when one of his numbers came out in the draw made on 8 June.

Unbelievably Lady Luck called again, just one week later, when another of his numbers was pulled out, bringing his prize money for the last year up to £500.

Robert, 79, from Morton, told us: "When I first joined I decided I would spend a fiver a week on the Blues Lotto. Each pound gets you ten numbers, and so I have a block of 50 numbers together. I think that has increased my chances of winning and I'm very happy to be collecting another cheque."

We'll be keepin an eye out on Friday to see if he can make it a hat trick!
